Meet Dr. Andy Kim
Dr. Andy Kim earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2017 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Hawaii. The AEGD is a competitive post-doctoral program that provides an additional year of intensive clinical training in implant surgery, sedation, oral surgery, and complex restorations, well beyond what dental school covers.
That training is what allows our practice to keep most procedures in-house. While many general dentists refer out implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, and bone grafting, Dr. Kim performs these right here in Burien.
